Education Department recruitment 2014- 592 teacher’s posts: Education
department of Chandigarh published a recruitment notification for the posts of
489 Junior Basic Teachers and 103 Nursery Teachers vacancy. Interested eligible
candidates may apply online between 03/11/2014 to 25/11/2014 till 5.00 PM (Extended Last date only for NTT 15-12-2014).

1. Junior
Basic Teacher (JBT) (Total Posts of JBT 489) (Un Reserve -235, OBC-177,
SC-77) (ESM-56, PH-13, Sports-21)
2. Nursery
Teachers Typist (Total posts of nursery teachers103) [(UN reserve -55,
OBC-32, SC-16) (ESM-12, physical handicap -3, Sports-5)]
Pay Scale: after finally selected candidates will get salary as Rs.10,300-34,800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
Age
limitation: Candidates who wants to apply for
teacher posts age must be between 21-30 year for JBT posts and 18-27 year for Nursery
teacher’s posts as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applied as per rule of
issued by Chandigarh Administration.
Education
criteria: candidates must have posses graduate with 40% form
any recognized university and 10+2 with 50% marks and Diploma in Teacher
training more than 2 year duration by NCTE with 50% marks for the posts of JBT.
For Nursery Teacher candidates must have posses 10+2 with 50% marks and
Diploma/certificate in NTT with minimum 2 year with 50% marks
Application
fee:
Candidates need to pay as Rs.250 for SC and Rs. 500 for other category as
application fee.
Selection
procedure: person who apply will be selected based on written
paper and merit list.
